I’ve had some great responses to my new video series, 5-Minute Art History, so I have filmed some more episodes! Today, I cover the art of Ancient Sumer which is one of the first-ever civilizations and responsible for a lot of our history’s firsts.

Great video!
I take our kids to see the Houston Policeman’s memorial, by Jesus Moroles. It is based upon a ziggurat with the shrine (a fountain) at the top The kids climb it and it is a wonderful structure. It will be nice to show your video before we go this coming school year.
Cindy, The Art Curator for Kids
That’s awesome! I’ll look out for that next time I am in Houston!
