The Art Curator for Kids - Art Around the World in 30 Days-eBook

I’m excited to present to you my Art Around the World in 30 Days eBook. Every day for the month of November 2014, I posted about amazing artworks that span the globe and span time. There are prehistoric artworks to artworks done in the 21st century. We visited every occupied continent. We learned about architecture, painting, sculpture, masks, installation art, fabric art, and more.

Among these pages, you will find information about the works of art, pictures, discussion questions, project and learning activity ideas, and resource lists.

I had a blast putting this together for you, and I am so proud of these 98 pages. 98 PAGES! It’s amazing to see it all together like this, and I hope you find these lessons useful. Please read the note on the product page about the images in the eBook.

    Cindy,

I just wanted to throw some words of encouragement your way … found you on KBN. Your site is so very super, super cool! Like mine, it’s niche, so takes a bit longer to grow, but i hope you’ll keep at it because your work is fantastic!

    Sharing you … πŸ™‚

Aww, thank you so much! Yes, I am finding growth to be kind of slow, but I have a big vision for what it could be in 5-10 years. Thanks for the encouragement. It helps a lot.

I’m heading over to your site now to check it out. πŸ™‚

This is not really free. It wants a credit card number to proceed as far as I can tell. πŸ™

Hello, is this no longer free to email subscribers? I see the 40% off but also the original post that brought me to this page said free. I just wanted some clarity. Thanks!

Hi! It was only free for a limited time in January. All of the content is on the site at https://artclasscurator.com/art-around-the-world/ if you don’t want to pay for the pdf.

If ya don’t want to pay for the pdf…how are you suppose to get paid for your time? It is very kind of you to offer a alternative. I do appreciate your hard work and wish I had found this sooner. You have done an awesome job! I love the big ideas.

This looks like an awesome ebook. It would be a fantastic addition to our exploring countries and cultures curriculum. I followed instructions and received an email but did not receive a code, only worksheet pages. The description says extended to jan 10. I came across this via the free homeschool resources. Am I doing something wrong?

No, you did it right! If you notice on the post, it says you’ll get it within 1-2 days. Because of the freehomeschooldeals share though, I have it set to send every 15 minutes. It should be in your inbox soon! πŸ™‚

Thanks! It’s actually for all ages. You’ll find some great suggestions for a 9th grader in there. Most of the activities I put in there are adaptable for all ages, and the questions work for high school. Of the top of my head, the best ones for high school would probably be New Zealand, Iraq, Kazakhstan, China, Congo, Nigeria, Portugal. Yeah, it’s almost all of them. I was just going through the list, and I felt I could type them all. πŸ™‚

From reading your above replies, I’m a bit confused as I have not yet received my code for the free download. I understand that it could take 1-2 days, but then one of your comments indicate that you have to send them out every 15 minutes. I confirmed my email link that you sent me several hours ago. Should I expect to wait 1-2 days for the code, or should I have gotten it within 15 minutes? Thanks, Lorraine

Hi Lorraine, there was a day I was getting tons of sign-ups because of a link from freehomeschooldeals.com, so I was sending every 15 minutes. Now it is about every 4 hours (each one I have to do manually, so it takes some time). You probably already have, but let me know if you haven’t gotten it yet! If you haven’t, the other scenario could be that you signed up for the “Receive Posts by E-mail” list which doesn’t get the code.

Hi, your art around the world sounds so interesting. I’m really excited to meet it. I received the code almost right away a few days ago, unfortunately the ling to put in the code just goes to a dead page where the only link that works leads back to this page. THX

It leads to the same page as before, I don’t see a place to enter the code & the deep orange buy button on it does nothing when you press it.

Okay, I sell on two different platforms, and I wasn’t looking on Teachers Pay Teachers because those sales are managed by them. You can log-in to your TPT account and download it from there.

I am a member, but I cannot find the link to the ebook Art Around the World. Your website is confusing because I click the links I am supposed to, but end up in a loop that is asking me to subscribe to 8 free worksheets or join as a member. Or I end up outside of the Member section that is asking me to buy the work. What am I doing wrong as a member? Thanks for any help.

Testimonials

I like how this program, unlike other art class resource membership programs, feels authentic. It's like art matters more here, and not fancy flash-in-the-pan trendiness. The goal of Art Class Curator seemed to be helping kids develop a lifelong love and art appreciation versus "Hey, look. I painted this fish."
Erin A.
Your questions are helping me to delve into much deeper learning, and my students are getting better at discussion-and then, making connections in their own work. Art Class Curator is awesome!
Denise W.
Interestingly, my lower performing classes really get engaged in these [lessons] and come away with some profound thoughts!
Melissa G.
I had the most amazing 6th grade class today. They were jumping out of their seats with hands raised just to respond and give input. It was as if I was waving candy in front of them! They saw more and more and the ideas and interpretations unfolded. So cool!!! This is what makes teaching art so wonderful – thank you!!
Caroline G.
I just wanted to thank you for the invaluable resource you have through Art Class Curator. Not only do you have thought provoking activities and discussion prompts, but it saves me so much time in preparing things for myself! I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface with your site.
