After my Art and Self podcast conversations, I often say “wow that was my favorite one” and looking back I have a lot of favorites as each conversation is so rich and layered, but this one may be THE favorite.
My art discussion about Dance of the Nine Opals by Ithel Colquhuon with Geoffa Fells about art and emotion and neurodiversity and music and how all of those intersect still give me chills when I think about it a month after having this conversation.
Geoffa has dissociative identity disorder and works within this system of self to explore these parts of herself as an artist and musician.
This artwork absolutely came alive for me through her eyes and her imagination.
